The Portland Winterhawks, after suffering two straight defeats to U.S. Division rivals, were bumped down from 3rd to 6th in the BMO CHL Top 10 this week (week 2 of the poll).
The OHL's London Knights, having only played one game and won, stayed in the top spot overall despite not having 2013 drafted Forwards Bo Horvat and Max Domi back from the Vancouver Canucks and Phoenix Coyotes camps.
The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL made the largest jump from not being ranked at all in the top 10 to number 2 after winning their first 4 games, including 2 wins over Sherbrooke. The Armada is led by 5th round 2013 Florida Panthers draft pick Christopher Clapperton and 6th round 2011 St. Louis Blues pick Ryan Tesink.
The Prince Albert Raiders, after starting the season at 6th, switched places with Portland as they took over 3rd place after two victories over Saskatoon over the weekend. Top 2014 NHL draft prospect Leon Draisaitl paces the Raiders with 4 points in the two games.
Other WHL teams in the top 10 are: Edmonton (8th) and Red Deer (10th). The Koelowna Rockets were an honorable mention.
